Cleaning crew member, part-time

The job

A part-time place on a North Harbor crew: three mornings a week, finished by 14:00, which suits school pick-ups and second jobs. You clean apartments and townhouses near the harbour with a crew lead, working from the same written checklist the full-time crews use. The days are fixed, so you can plan around them.

A normal day

You meet the van at the North Harbor base at 8:00. A morning is usually two or three homes, most of them regulars on a weekly or two-weekly visit. Apartments here are smaller, so the crew moves quickly: kitchen and bathrooms first, then dusting, floors last. The crew lead checks each room against the list before you lock up and post the key back where the customer asked. You are done at 14:00.

What you need

• You can lift 15 kg and climb stairs with a vacuum (many buildings have no lift)
• You agree to a background check before the trial shift
• You are free on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings
• No experience needed

What we provide

• Pay every Friday, by direct deposit
• Paid training: two weeks of paired visits on your three days

• First pick of extra shifts when a full-time crew needs cover

The trial shift is one paid day with one of our leads, on real jobs. At the end you both say whether it is a fit; if it is, you start the following week.
