The job

You clean homes in Elm Park as one of a crew of two, beside a crew lead who has done this for years. Most of the homes are regulars: the same family every week or every other week, so you learn where the spare bags are and which floor needs the soft mop. Every visit runs from a written checklist, room by room, and you tick it as you go.

A normal day

The van leaves the Elm Park base at 8:00 with everything on board: vacuums, mops, microfibre cloths sorted by colour, and the supplies for the day. A standard clean takes about two hours with two people, so most days are three or four homes with a lunch break in the van or at the base. You are back by 16:30. Before you leave a home, the crew lead walks it with the checklist and the customer’s notes, and you fix anything that was missed.

What you need

  • You can lift 15 kg and spend the day on your feet
  • You agree to a background check before the trial shift
  • No cleaning experience: the two weeks of training cover everything

What we provide

  • Pay every Friday, including your training weeks
  • Two work shirts, gloves, and all the equipment
  • A set crew and a set area, so your week looks the same
  • A paid trial shift before you decide

The trial shift is one paid day with one of our leads, on real jobs. At the end you both say whether it is a fit; if it is, you start the following week.
