Working in North Harbor

North Harbor runs along the water from the old cannery to the lighthouse, and almost nobody here lives at street level. Most of our clients are in towers on Harbor Point or in lofts carved out of the warehouses on Ropewalk, which shapes every visit: a sign-in at the desk, a ride in the service lift, and a crew that carries everything in two trips.

Inside, the homes are open-plan with a lot of glass. That means more time on floors and windows and less on separate rooms, so our standard clean here is planned by surface rather than by room count. Kitchens are small and heavily used; ovens and range hoods are the most common add-on.

The sea air is the other constant. Salt settles on windows, balcony rails, and patio furniture within a few weeks, and the townhouses on Lighthouse Hill collect sand in their gutters after every storm. We only clean gutters on those townhouses; the towers are handled by their building managers.

Move-outs are steady all year because many units are rentals. If your lease ends on the first of the month, book early: the freight elevators are shared and the last days fill up quickly.

Before a new baby arrived. They did the skirting boards, light switches, and the tops of the wardrobes, and used the unscented products I asked for. Four and a half hours with two people.

Ground-floor flat with a conservatory. Two people, ninety minutes, glass roof included. They laid sheets under the inside windows and wiped down the sills afterwards, so there were no drips on the wooden floor.

We run a 40-desk office over two floors. The crew comes in after 18:30, signs in with the building, and the kitchen and restrooms are done before anyone arrives. One invoice a month, same crew lead since we started.

Can you clean my unit if I'm at work?

Yes. Leave a key with the concierge or a lockbox code in the booking notes; the crew signs in and out at the desk.

Do you clean balconies and terraces?

Yes, as an add-on. Railings, glass panels, and the floor are wiped; furniture is moved and put back.

Is parking a problem on Pier Row?

No. We use the loading bays during the visit and pay any meter ourselves.
