They sent the price before I gave my address, and the final bill matched it to the dollar. Two people for three hours in a three-bedroom house. The crew left the checklist on the counter with every box ticked, including the stairs they could have skipped.

Flat-pack wardrobe, a TV bracket on a stud wall, and a sticking sash window. He checked the wall with a detector before drilling, showed me where the cables ran, and finished in three hours. Everything was on one ticket with the half hours listed.
We moved out on a Friday and they came Saturday at eight. Three people, five hours, a fixed price agreed beforehand. Limescale off the shower screen, marks off the hallway walls, and the oven back to its original colour. The landlord's checkout report listed nothing to fix.
Our clinic needs the waiting room and exam rooms done every night. Good, steady work. A bin was missed twice in the first month; the crew lead added it to the checklist and it hasn't happened since.
Two of them, four and a half hours, and the oven finally looks like an oven. They ran 20 minutes late but texted ahead. Baseboards were done properly, which the last company never did.
Before a new baby arrived. They did the skirting boards, light switches, and the tops of the wardrobes, and used the unscented products I asked for. Four and a half hours with two people.
I added inside the fridge and the windows on the online form and the price updated before I booked. The crew arrived ten minutes early, called from the door, and finished in three hours as shown on the ticket.
I manage three small buildings. The walkthrough took half an hour, the written quote came two days later, and the price per square foot hasn't moved. Keys are logged, and I get a note when they're low on paper towels.
Ground-floor flat with a conservatory. Two people, ninety minutes, glass roof included. They laid sheets under the inside windows and wiped down the sills afterwards, so there were no drips on the wooden floor.
Booked two hours to hang a mirror, a curtain rail, and fix a cabinet hinge. The rail went into an old plaster wall and took much longer than planned, so the visit ran to nearly four hours. The work is solid, but I would have liked a call before the extra time started.
Visits every 2 weeks since January. Same two people each time, they know where the recycling goes and that the cat stays in the bedroom. The text the evening before with the arrival window is useful.
We run a 40-desk office over two floors. The crew comes in after 18:30, signs in with the building, and the kitchen and restrooms are done before anyone arrives. One invoice a month, same crew lead since we started.
Empty three-bedroom before the handover. They cleaned inside every cupboard, the extractor filter, and the window tracks, then sent me photos of each room. The letting agent signed the inventory without a single note and I got the full deposit back.
A list of six small jobs: two doors that stuck, a loose towel rail, a shelf, a dripping tap, and a smoke alarm. He did them in two hours, priced by the half hour as quoted, and swept up the sawdust before he left.
Kitchen, two bathrooms, and floors done well in about two and a half hours. One point off because the crew changed from the first visit, so I had to explain the dog gate again. The second visit was the same pair as promised.
First clean after the holidays. Three people for four hours: inside the oven, behind the fridge, grout in both bathrooms. They asked before touching the shelves in the study and left them exactly as they were.
Fourteen windows inside and out, frames and sills included. Good work overall, but two upstairs panes still had streaks once the sun came round in the afternoon. I sent a photo and they came back the next morning.
Living room and stairs. The technician tested a corner first, moved the sofa and put it back on felt pads. The carpet was dry enough to walk on by evening and the coffee stain by the window is gone.
Two-bedroom flat, two people, just under three hours. They worked through the checklist room by room and left it on the counter with every box ticked. The price was the one I saw online, nothing added at the door.

Our clinic needs the waiting room and exam rooms done every night. Good, steady work. A bin was missed twice in the first month; the crew lead added it to the checklist and it hasn't happened since.

Thanks for flagging it early, Victor. The checklist now names every bin by room.

You're right, Ben. The rule is to stop and ask before going past the booked time, and that didn't happen. We refunded the second extra hour and every handyman now confirms overruns by text first.
